About the role

The Quality Assurance Specialist provides enterprise-wide operational oversight for modality performance across the Mass General Brigham (MGB) Radiology department.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and problem solve radiology equipment performance issues.
  • Guide, teach, and motivate staff in quality assurance processes.
  • Evaluate compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements

  • Education: Associate's Degree in Health Sciences required or Bachelor's Degree in Health Sciences preferred.
  • Licenses and Credentials: Radiologic Technologist license (MA - Radiography and Mammography) required; ARRT-R and ARRT-M certifications required.
  • Experience: 5-7 years of radiology technologist experience with multiple patient populations, or 1-2 years of leadership experience, or 2-3 years of quality experience.
