Mammo Tech, Days

Full-time (1.0 FTE), 40 hours per week. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm, plus 1 or 2 Saturdays every 6 weeks (7:00 am–2:30 pm). Off during the week when required to work Saturdays.

About the role

In this role, the Mammography Technologist will perform mammography to assist physicians in the diagnosis and/or treatment of medical disorders, and handle related clerical and service duties.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Mammography or Radiologic Technology, or equivalent training acquired via work experience or education
• 1–2 years of previous job-related experience
• Licensure/Certifications:
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
  • CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) – American Heart Association (AHA) only
  • Registered Radiographic Technologist
  • Registered Radiographic Technologist (Mammography)
• Must maintain at least 15 category 1 CEUs in direct mammography continuing education within a 36-month period
• Must perform 200 exams within a 24-month period
• 40 hours of training in mammography
• 25 mammography exams under direct supervision of an MQSA-qualified individual

Pay

Pay range: $34.00 – $57.00 per hour. Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
