Responsibilities
- Performs specialized examinations of the breast to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease.
- Operates mammographic radiographic equipment and other relevant devices.
- Performs advanced breast imaging procedures such as stereotactic and MRI biopsies.
- Provides more complex technical care based on patient needs.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
- One year of experience as a Mammography Technologist required.
- ARDMS or ARRT - Radiographer Registered Radiologic Technologist in Radiography (R) certification upon hire.
- ARDMS or ARRT - Mammography Mammography (M) - ARRT certification upon hire.
- BCLS - Basic Life Support certification upon hire.
