About the Role

In this role, the Mammography Technologist will perform mammography to assist physicians in the diagnosis and/or treatment of medical disorders, along with related clerical and service duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform screening, diagnostic, and procedural mammography exams

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Mammography or Radiologic Technology, or equivalent training acquired via work experience or education
• 1–2 years of previous job-related experience
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification
• CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) certification (American Heart Association only)
• Registered Radiographic Technologist (Mammography) licensure
• Must maintain at least 15 category 1 CEUs in direct mammography continuing education within a 36-month period
• Must perform 200 exams within a 24-month period
• 40 hours of training in mammography
• 25 mammography exams under direct supervision of an MQSA-qualified individual
• Authorization to work for any employer in the U.S. (visa sponsorship not available)

Pay

$34.00 – $57.00 per hour (actual compensation varies based on experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification, and role comparisons)
