Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Fix and maintain equipment daily, which would include but not be limited to:
- Solving production equipment issues or building maintenance repairs after hours.
- Having general knowledge of various building maintenance issues like electrical, HVAC, plumbing, lighting, air compressors, and hoses.
- Knowing how to operate wire cut, seal, termination, and splice machines.
- Having basic mechanical knowledge, including changing oil and troubleshooting issues with fleet trucks and cars.
- Analyzing information from teammates and customers and providing solutions to problems.
- Ability to cross-train in all areas of the maintenance department.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Knowledge of CNC machines is desired but not mandatory.
- High school diploma or general degree (GED).
- Ability to read and interpret schematics.
- Basic math skills.
- Reasoning ability to diagnose and solve problems.
- Certificates, licenses, registrations, and other skills/abilities/qualifications not listed above, such as a Powered Industrial Truck license.
- Comfortable with heights.
- Success with company LOTO training.
- Success with the company's Fall protection training.
- Continuous: Sitting for 1 hour, standing for 4 hours, walking for 4 hours, driving for 1 hour.
- Frequent: Using hands for repetitive activities (right and left), pushing/pulling (right and left), fine manipulation (right and left), bending at the waist, squatting, climbing ladders/stairs, kneeling on ground, reaching above shoulder.
- Occasional: Lifting up to 50 lbs frequently, lifting up to 25 lbs occasionally.
- None: Driving for more than 1 hour, working for more than 10 hours per day, working overtime without notice.
- Exposed to all weather conditions.
- Typical 10-hour workday with overtime without notice.
- PPE requirements include safety glasses and closed-toe shoes when on the production floor, and chemical-resistant gloves.
