Male Spa Attendant

Responsibilities

• Supervise Spa/Salon staff to ensure adherence to company, spa, and salon policies, practices, and procedures while monitoring their duties and responsibilities.
• Instruct new hires and employees on role expectations and responsibilities.
• Order products for back bar and amenities.
• Prepare schedules for spa attendants and maintain time-off requests.
• Check guests in and out of the spa/salon facility.
• Provide tours of locker rooms and wet areas to all guests.
• Provide beverages, towels, robes, and slippers to guests.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and assist guests with questions.
• Ensure all services are completed promptly within the allotted time.
• Maintain professional and courteous behavior with all guests and employees.
• Discard soiled linen and fold/restock clean linen as needed.
• Pick up linen from the dock as needed.
• Push and pull linen carts to appropriate areas.
• Stock water and juices in the spa area.
• Oversee guests’ needs in the gym by providing water in the cooler, bottled water, and offering iced towels.
• Monitor the gym for cleanliness and reorganize weights and other equipment.
• Maintain the overall appearance of the spa/salon.
• Perform other job-related duties as deemed necessary for the success of the department.

Qualifications

• Two to five years of customer service experience, with at least one year of spa/fitness experience preferred.
• Flexible schedule required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) preferred.
• Able to communicate in English (verbal and written).
• Bilingual ability is helpful.
• Basic knowledge of spa software preferred.
• Familiarity with basic office equipment, including multi-line phone systems, fax, and copy machines.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
