Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one support in the home and community
- Participate in activities such as basketball, games, and other recreational interests
- Accompany the individual on community outings, including restaurants, bowling, and other local activities
- Encourage independence, confidence, and social engagement
- Ensure the individual's safety and well-being at all times
- Document services provided in accordance with agency requirements
Qualifications
- Experience working with individuals with IDD or in a caregiving role preferred
- Friendly, patient, dependable, and energetic
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass all required background checks
- Male applicant requested to meet the individual's preference
Schedule
- Tuesdays: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Thursdays: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
