Many of our senior male clients specifically request a male peer to assist them with personal care, daily routines, and companionship. We aren’t a large, impersonal corporate agency. Owned and operated by local husband-and-wife team Matt and Erin Eckard, our agency treats caregivers like the true healthcare professionals they are. We thoughtfully match you with long-term, consistent clients based on personality, shared interests, and background.

Responsibilities

• Peer-to-Peer Companionship & Memory Care: Providing engagement, specialized Alzheimer’s/Dementia support, and a friendly connection (many of our guys love talking sports, history, or just having another guy around).
• Personal Care (ADLs): Providing safe, dignified assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility.
• Nutrition & Homemaking: Meal planning/preparation and light housekeeping.
• Transportation: Driving clients to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and running errands.

Requirements

• Active NJ CHHA Certification (required).
• Valid Driver’s License and a reliable insured vehicle for client transport (required).
• Strong clinical judgment, clear communication, and a dependable attitude.
• Open availability for day, weekend, or overnight shifts is a major plus.
