About the role
Griswold Home Care of Sarasota County is seeking a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide companionship and caregiving services to elderly clients.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily tasks to help clients maintain independence
- Assess client needs and provide appropriate care
- Prepare meals and assist with grocery shopping
- Handle light housekeeping duties
- Provide caregiving services to clients with cognitive impairments or dementia
- Assist with non-medical tasks such as feeding and bathing
- Keep detailed logs of daily duties
- Submit accurate documentation to the office
- Check in with the office regularly for updates
- Ensure clients maintain proper personal hygiene
- Provide companionship and emotional support
Requirements
- Reliable transportation
- A high school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- 2+ years of CNA or home care experience (plus caring for a loved one counts!)
Qualifications
- Punctual and dependable
- Passionate about providing elderly care

Benefits
