Male Caregiver Needed – Dementia Experience Required

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, dependable male caregiver to provide care and companionship for a male client with dementia.

Schedule

Monday, Wednesday & Friday, 8:00 AM-1:00 PM

Location

Pen Valley area

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including but not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with seniors.
• Provide medication reminders and assistance with medication management.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Auxiliary tasks such as assisting with transportation to appointments, errands, and community activities.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.

Requirements

• Previous experience in caregiving preferred but not required.
• Caregiver must have a compassionate and patient demeanor.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Must have proof of auto insurance with a clean driving record.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Must demonstrate dependability and integrity.
• Desire to make a difference!
