Makerspace Paraprofessional

Job Responsibilities

• Designing and creating daily activities focused on student-centered inquiry.
• Managing daily schedules for class groups.
• Monitoring the students while building a welcoming, student-friendly environment.
• Bringing students to and from their class groups in a safe, orderly manner.
• Possibly attending district meetings with other elementary school Makerspace paraprofessionals.
• Other tasks as needed by building administration (flexibility required).

Requirements

• Flexible, creative self-starters with strong organizational skills.
• Experience working with children is preferred.
