Make Ready Technician - Apartment Maintenance

Key Responsibilities

• Complete make ready / unit turnover tasks for vacant apartments
• Perform apartment maintenance repairs including:
• Drywall repair and interior painting
• Basic electrical troubleshooting and fixture replacement
• Plumbing repairs (faucets, sinks, drains, toilets)
• Appliance troubleshooting and minor repairs
• Carpentry and finish work
• Repair or replace doors, windows, blinds, ceiling fans, lighting fixtures, and hardware
• Prepare apartments for new resident move-ins (move-in ready standards)
• Change locks, complete punch lists, and support preventive maintenance
• Assist with groundskeeping, property maintenance, and curb appeal

Qualifications

• Skills in painting, drywall, plumbing, and basic electrical
• HVAC certification (EPA) is a plus
• Valid driver’s license/reliable transportation (required for on-call rotation)
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical maintenance tasks
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and team-focused
