Maintenance Worker Part-Time

Responsibilities
- Keep our building safe & functional: Handle daily maintenance requests, repairs, and assist with emergencies.
- Use your technical skills: Work with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, boilers, and more to keep systems running smoothly.
- Support new residents: Prepare rooms and ensure each space is ready for move-ins.
- Promote safety & compliance: Assist with inspections, work with contractors, and follow building codes and safety standards.
- Lend a hand with residents: Help with outings, appointments, and provide a friendly, helpful presence in the community.
- Take care of the details: Maintain cleanliness, follow safety protocols, and respond with a positive attitude.
Requirements
- Maintenance or repair experience (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or related fields).
- A problem-solver who enjoys variety in their day.
- Friendly, approachable, and willing to interact with seniors and staff.
- Flexibility to help with occasional weekend or evening needs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Skills
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
