Maintenance Worker II - Creve Coeur Soccer Park
About the role
The St. Louis County Department of Parks and Recreation is seeking a Maintenance Worker I at Creve Coeur Park Soccer Complex.
Responsibilities
- Performs required field maintenance and grooming on the Complex’s 13 synthetic turf soccer fields.
- Mows and trims grounds.
- Cleans and performs maintenance of restrooms and buildings.
- Performs trash removal and pick-up.
- Auxiliary in ensuring fields and goals are properly set up and broken down for field rentals and tournaments, including lining fields with field marking paint.
- Auxiliary in the operation of field rentals/tournaments as necessary.
- Performs related work as required.
Requirements
- Two years of experience in general maintenance or related work; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Knowledge or prior experience in sports field or athletic complex maintenance.
Special requirements
- Possession of a valid Drivers License.

Pay
The typical starting salary is $20.16 hourly depending on the candidate's qualifications and experience as well as budgetary considerations.
Schedule
Work hours for this position will primarily include Mondays - Fridays, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. but may include some weekends.
