Maintenance Worker - Bucks County Correctional (Facilities)

About the role

Aramark is hiring a Maintenance Worker / Maintenance Technician in Doylestown, PA to support facility operations within a secure correctional environment. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with a rotating on-call assignment approximately once every 9 weeks. This role is ideal for someone with trade experience who is reliable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in structured environments.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintains a friendly, efficient, positive customer service demeanor toward customers, clients, and co-workers.
• Adaptable to customer needs.
• Repairs various fixtures and hardware such as doors, windows, minor appliances, office equipment, etc.
• Inspects assigned area on a routine basis and performs maintenance as needed to keep facility in functioning and serviceable condition.
• Completes daily, weekly, or monthly checklists of pre-scheduled building and equipment maintenance procedures.
• Reports on any major maintenance need and recommends corrective action as appropriate.
• Demonstrates efficient and safe use of equipment and tools.
• Demonstrates commitment to professional growth and competence by adherence to component and departmental training commitments.
• Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in maintenance, facilities, construction, or a skilled trade (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.).
• Ability to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks.
• Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to participate in rotating on-call coverage (1 week approximately every 9 weeks).
• Ability to work Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM.
• Physically able to lift, bend, climb, and perform hands-on maintenance tasks.
