About the role

Responsibilities
- Report daily to the Director of Plant Operations on facility conditions and progress of assigned tasks.
- Support the implementation of quality and productivity standards for equipment and building maintenance.
- Collaborate with other departments to schedule work, set priorities, and coordinate materials and supplies.
- Perform maintenance repairs, remodeling, minor construction, and equipment installations.
- Assist with facility fire and safety inspections and implement safety protocols in coordination with the Safety and Security Departments.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be able to operate independently and handle a variety of building systems and equipment.
- Collaboration with clinical and administrative departments is expected for facility support.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance; hospital setting preferred.
- Skills: Familiarity with Joint Commission standards and regulatory compliance preferred. Basic computer skills required. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
