Maintenance Worker
Responsibilities
- Painting, plumbing, electrical, and inspections of physical plant equipment
- Preventive maintenance and various janitorial duties
- Cleaning and changing air filters, kitchen grease traps, and stove hood filters
- Disposing of infectious/contaminated waste from the hospital
- Maintaining hospital grounds in a neat and attractive appearance
- Maintaining all light fixtures in good working condition and changing light bulbs as needed
- Performing preventive maintenance electrical tests and the removal, installation, and repair of all mechanical/electrical equipment
- Complying with established measures for infection control, OSHA regulations, and safety/risk management plans policies and procedures
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred; two years of technical or trade school preferred
- Experience in operating a variety of hand/power tools and equipment ensuring proper safety precautions
- Experience in the area of building maintenance and basic mechanical engineering
- Valid driver's license
- Complete knowledge of physical plant within two weeks of hire

Pay
This is a full time role and the expected compensation is $17.00 to $23.00 hourly.
Schedule
Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 4:00 pm with weekends as needed (flexible schedule)
