Maintenance Worker

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Worker to help oversee Life Safety Code, maintenance, and repair operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully performing maintenance work, ensuring timely repairs, and maintaining a safe and clean environment for our residents.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular rounds to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems
• Maintain and extend the life of equipment and structures
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure that maintenance needs are met and that residents' requests are fulfilled
• Develop and manage budgets for maintenance projects and prioritize spending to meet the needs of the community
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in a Skilled Nursing Facility or healthcare setting
• Team player
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
