Schedule
Full Time – Weekdays 9 am–5:30 pm, with call coverage required.
Location: Clinch Valley Medical Center.
Pay
Hourly range: $20.56 – $27.75.
About the Team

Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repair duties as directed.
- Assist in maintaining physical structures, HVAC, mechanical, electrical, utility systems, and grounds.
- Apply standards of quality and productivity for the facility.
- Follow policies, procedures, and performance standards for maintenance and repair of equipment, buildings, and building systems.
- Collaborate with other departments and administration, negotiate priorities, plan work schedules, complete job assignments, and request orders for needed materials, supplies, and parts.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements for the energy management program.
- Coordinate fire and safety measures, including inspections and procedures, in conjunction with Safety and Security Departments.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous maintenance/facilities experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with Joint Commission and other regulatory policies and procedures (preferred).
- Basic computer skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
