Maintenance Employees
Maintain all machinery within the plant.
- Install, maintain, and test R&D equipment.
- Assist with plant troubleshooting and continuous improvement projects.
- Process work orders and perform daily preventative maintenance tasks.
- Assemble and disassemble equipment using both hand and power tools.
- Operate forklifts, hoists, and other heavy equipment.
- Report and communicate any issues to maintenance management.
- Maintain equipment integrity and follow procedures.
- Participate in breakdown repairs and project work.
- Accelerate skill base through relevant training and exposure.
Skills and Abilities:
- Basic mechanical aptitude.
- Basic electrical knowledge.
- Knowledge and ability to maintain certification for operating material handling equipment and servicing complex refrigeration and mechanical systems.
- General computer and software knowledge is preferred.
Demonstrated Competencies:
- Effective communication with all levels of employees, both verbally and in writing.
- Good observation and analytical skills for reporting, troubleshooting, and diagnosing problems.
- Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision.
Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift, push, and pull up to 60 lbs.
- Walking, standing, climbing, bending, reaching, and handling required.
- Flexible working hours, including weekends.
Experience:
- Plant maintenance experience is advantageous.
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent, or verifiable ability to perform essential job functions.
