Maintenance Technician
Maintain upkeep, repairs, and part replacements for the facility and equipment.
- Repair and replace mechanical components on production equipment, including presses, forklifts, and conveyors.
- Diagnose and address mechanical issues by dismantling, repairing, or replacing parts as needed.
- Aid with electrical or electronic device repairs, including re-wiring.
- Perform general and preventive maintenance on equipment and facility support devices.
- Construct and repair items like brackets, panels, and HVAC systems.
- Aid with new equipment installation, including utility connections and site preparation.
- Help with utilities and support equipment installation in new plant construction.
- Maintain the external building and property, including repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Utilize skills in trades such as carpentry, plumbing, and welding.
- Attend team meetings, training programs, and follow EHS procedures.
- Participate in Winchesters improvement processes.
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Specialized vocational training in an area such as mechanics, welding, machine repair, etc., preferred.
- 2+ years in industrial or mechanical repair required.
- Journeyman card a plus.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and drive projects to completion.
- Quick decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to meet the role's physical demands, including, but not limited to, continuous standing/walking and occasionally picking up material weighing up to 50 pounds.
Location-Specific Requirements
- This position requires successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
- This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required.
