Responsibilities
- Support the Preventative Maintenance Program in the Assembly Department
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, plumbing, and electrical problems efficiently and safely
- Work alone or on a team
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Work safely in aerial lifts, on forklifts, and on elevated work surfaces
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment using 5S standards
Requirements
- Pass CPR/AED and First Aid Training
- Pass Lockout/Tagout, Fall Protection, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and Electrical Safety Training
- Working knowledge of Commercial HVAC units (Operation, filter changes, belt and sheave adjustments, and coil cleaning)
- Working knowledge of Industrial Electricity and Lighting
- Working knowledge of Industrial Plumbing and Fixtures
- Working knowledge of Commercial Dock Levelers and Dock Locks
- Working knowledge of Overhead Doors, High Speed Doors, and Sectional Doors
- Working knowledge of Industrial Supply and Exhaust Fans
- Able to work the weekend shift—Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 3 12-hour shifts but paid for 40 hours
