About the role
Maintain and repair water systems, plumbing fixtures, and related equipment in a commercial setting. Perform routine maintenance tasks, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and test water systems, plumbing fixtures, and related equipment to identify and address issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to keep systems operating efficiently.
- Diagnose and resolve complex plumbing and mechanical problems using technical knowledge and tools.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and comply with regulatory requirements.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to coordinate work activities and resolve issues.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in plumbing or related field.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Good physical condition to perform manual labor.
- Knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Skills
- Proficient in using hand and power tools.
- Experience with HVAC systems a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
