Maintenance Technician - Waterfair

About the role

Maintain and repair water systems, plumbing fixtures, and related equipment in a commercial setting. Perform routine maintenance tasks, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test water systems, plumbing fixtures, and related equipment to identify and address issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to keep systems operating efficiently.
• Diagnose and resolve complex plumbing and mechanical problems using technical knowledge and tools.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients to coordinate work activities and resolve issues.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in plumbing or related field.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Good physical condition to perform manual labor.
• Knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

Skills

• Proficient in using hand and power tools.
• Experience with HVAC systems a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
