Job Description
Responsibilities
- Painting
- Home remodeling
- Maintain heating and plumbing systems
- Inspect and schedule repairs for alarm systems
- Perform manual repairs (e.g., fix locks, replace windows)
- Conduct pest control activities (spraying insecticide)
- General upkeep procedures and other tasks as assigned
- Keep grounds and landscaping in top shape
- Mow, weed eat, and trim hedges
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs of equipment
Requirements
- Carpentry a Must
- Physically capable of manual labor including lifting, bending, and reaching
- Positive attitude and willingness to lead and work as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and organizational skills
- Puts high value on doing a good job and self-supervisory skills
- Basic understanding of plumbing and other systems
- Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
- Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices
- Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Building maintenance technology or relevant field preferred
- Desired: Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP)
