Maintenance Technician - Third shift

About the role

The Krusteaz Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join the Effingham team. This role requires a broad skill set to identify and resolve mechanical issues and improve production processes.

Responsibilities

• Support production by maintaining equipment and resolving downtime issues.
• Interpret blueprints, fabricate metal, perform plumbing, pneumatic, and millwright activities.
• Collaborate with production staff to enhance equipment reliability.
• Problem solve and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Operate computerized systems and maintain documentation.
• Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Confront issues by focusing on customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Food manufacturing experience is desired.
• Exposure to PLC, SLC 500/PLC5/RS Logics/Device Net preferred.
• Exposure to AC and DC motors, VFD and VSD drive experience preferred.
• Relevant trade or technical school training preferred.
• Lift up to 60 pounds regularly.
• Stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders as needed.

Qualifications

• Pass mechanical and electrical aptitude and knowledge test.

• Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Good manual dexterity.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and at elevated heights.

Pay

$31.44 per hour + $1.75 shift differential

Schedule

Sunday - Thursday, 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM, with possible overtime
