Maintenance Technician - Suites

About the role

The Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining the physical plant and equipment of Oxford Collection of Hotels. This position is supervised by the Maintenance Manager and involves a mix of preventative maintenance, repairs, and guest relations.

Responsibilities

• Safety & Preventative Maintenance (50%): Conduct routine preventive maintenance, assist with tasks like flipping mattresses, moving furniture, and refurbishing furniture.
• Maintenance Repairs (30%): Troubleshoot and perform repairs on plumbing systems, electrical systems, and hotel equipment.
• Guest Relations (15%): Engage with guests, address concerns, and ensure their needs are met.
• Other (5%): Communicate with staff, adhere to policies, and perform additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Valid Drivers License
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Physical ability to perform various tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ years of general maintenance experience
• Knowledge of plumbing, refrigeration, carpentry, electrical, and other guest room repairs
