Main duties
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on CNC machines, lathes, mills, grinders, saws, presses, and other machine-shop equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic control-system problems.
- Diagnose equipment failures and make timely repairs to minimize production downtime.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and maintain accurate maintenance records.
- Replace bearings, belts, motors, pumps, sensors, switches, hoses, and other machine components.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, manuals, and equipment documentation.
- Assist with machine installations, equipment moves, setup, and modifications.
- Perform fabrication, machining, or other repair work as needed.
- Maintain shop utilities and facility equipment, including compressors, HVAC systems, lighting, and other support systems.
- Work closely with production personnel to identify recurring equipment issues and recommend improvements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and lockout/tagout procedures.
- Maintain an inventory of commonly used maintenance parts and supplies.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance situations as required.
Job Qualifications
- Education: Undergraduate : Associate's, Bachelor's, or equivalent extensive experience
- Professional experience required: 3 - 5 years
