Maintenance Technician Spec

Position Responsibilities

• Installs, maintains, and repairs manufacturing equipment.
• Installs, maintains, and repairs facility related equipment including: access control systems, fire alarm systems, and gas generator systems.
• Completes preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on various types of equipment.
• Able to safely troubleshoot and perform basic electrical repairs.
• Operates/maintains machine shop equipment, hand tools, measuring, and diagnostic equipment.
• Documents completed repairs.
• Fabricates, rebuilds, designs, and installs machine parts.
• Mechanical installation and troubleshooting of oil lubrication, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems including piping.
• Maintain compressed air and drying equipment.
• Installation and troubleshooting of electrical motors and controls.
• Constructs electrical control panels from various schematics.
• Implement ways to reduce costs, increase productivity, and eliminate waste.
• Identify, requisition, and track supplies required to complete assignments.
• Follows safe working practices and procedures.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent. Relevant training in industrial maintenance or equivalent experience. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
