Maintenance Technician Skilled - Soul Apartments

Bader Property Management is a long-standing, locally owned firm in the Twin Cities area, managing rental communities for over 50 years. Soul Apartments offers an exciting opportunity for someone with skills in building maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled building maintenance including repairs to sinks, windows, floors and other parts of the building.
• Maintain the grounds as assigned which may include trash pick-up, shoveling, and sweeping curb/dumpster area, maintaining landscape beds and other areas.
• Prepare vacant units for occupancy which may include cleaning responsibilities.
• Install, repair (including soldering) and maintain various plumbing; heating and air conditioning fixtures; perform metal fabrication and welding.
• Install and repair major and minor appliances (e.g. washer, dryer, refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwashers, etc.).
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues, diagnose problems, replace and/or repair parts, test and make necessary adjustments to ensure issues are resolved.
• Complete minor work orders such as snake toilets/drains, repair/replace leaking faucets, remove/replace caulking, replace different components of toilets, adjust/replace door closures, and replace locks, deadbolts and passage locks.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs as needed.
• Demonstrate courteous and efficient customer service at all times.

Requirements

This position requires five years of experience in building maintenance and the necessary licenses and certifications for the properties managed.

Pay

$31 per hour

Schedule

This is a full-time, benefit-eligible position with a flexible schedule that includes working Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with nights and weekends for shifts.
