Maintenance Technician (Roving)
About the role
The Dylan Apartments and Terrace Hill Apartments in St. Michael and Ramsey are seeking a dedicated Roving Maintenance Technician to join their team. This position offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits packages including PTO, medical, 401k, and other coverage. Applicants must be available to be on call for after-hours emergencies and possess a driver's license.
Responsibilities
- Duties may include:
- Electrical maintenance
- Plumbing maintenance
- Boiler maintenance
- General repair and carpentry work in occupied units and turnover work
- Tenant work orders as needed
- Grounds maintenance and cleaning
Qualifications & Requirements
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Supply your own tools (larger equipment and some tools provided)
- Available to be on call for after-hours emergencies
- Experience necessary
- High attention to detail
- Great customer service
- Must be able to cost-effectively analyze work needed and problem solve
- Must have great customer service and people skills as a large portion of this job will involve tenant interaction
- General inventory of supplies and ordering
