Maintenance Technician - Riverchase

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Riverchase community, a 432-unit property located in Tulsa, OK. You will aid in all general maintenance of the apartment community, including routine, preventive, and turnover maintenance to keep the property in top condition.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and other community maintenance tasks
• Maintain the community’s appearance at or above quality standards, including picking up trash and cleaning buildings and amenities
• Identify and report needed maintenance and liability hazards to the Manager
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in
• Review the make-ready board and follow direction from the manager to address vacant apartments
• Perform all necessary repairs and replacements to ensure apartments are ready for occupancy
• Work occasional odd schedules and be available for on-call rotations with additional pay
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

Requirements

• 2+ years of general maintenance experience
• Experience with plumbing and electrical systems
• EPA Universal License for HVAC (required)
• CPO license (preferred)
• Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations
• HVAC certification (preferred) and ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment, plumbing systems, electrical systems, and major appliances (including washer and dryer)
• High school diploma or equivalent (strongly preferred); college-level or trade school education (preferred)
• Basic computer proficiency (preferred)
• Bilingual (a plus)

Physical Demands

• Exposure to constant activity requiring intermittent standing, bending, crouching, pushing/pulling, and lifting/moving/carrying light to heavy loads
• Climbing stairs and ladders

Pay

$28.84 per hour, with opportunity for incentive/bonus pay.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with occasional on-call rotation and additional pay.
