Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair building systems (HVAC, ventilation).
- Perform electrical and plumbing repairs.
- Service appliances (stoves, refrigerators, washers, dryers).
- Complete light carpentry, drywall, and hardware repairs.
- Install and maintain flooring, cabinets, and countertops.
- Prepare units for occupancy and assist with seasonal maintenance.
- Inspect and clean common mechanical and storage areas.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2 years as a maintenance technician; multifamily experience preferred.
- Skills: Basic proficiency in two or more trades (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting).
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Certifications: EPA Universal and CPO certifications preferred.
- Other: Basic computer skills and ability to use property management software.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Perform tasks requiring standing, walking, and occasional climbing.
- Flexible schedule includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
- On-call availability required.
Special Requirements
- Driver License
- Background Check: Candidates must successfully pass a driver license background check as part of the hiring process to ensure that all employees who will be operating a company vehicle meet necessary safety standards.
