Key Responsibilities
- Complete resident maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, and general maintenance issues.
- Prepare apartment homes for new residents, including apartment turnovers and renovations.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure property standards are met.
- Maintain common areas, mechanical equipment, and building systems.
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and OSHA guidelines.
- Work closely with the maintenance team to provide outstanding service to residents.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in apartment maintenance, property maintenance, building maintenance, facilities maintenance, or a related field.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance repairs.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and safely move appliances and maintenance equipment.
- Comfortable working on ladders and at heights up to 25 feet.
- Experience in multifamily housing, apartment communities, hotels, or hospitality maintenance is preferred.

Starting pay is based on experience, technical skills, education, certifications, and other job-related qualifications.
