About the role
TRG Management is a premier property management company experienced with all types of housing, including subsidized, workforce and affordable, mid-rises, high-rises, luxury rentals, and single-family. We manage approximately 20,000 units across several states, with a current portfolio of over 100 properties.
Responsibilities
- Prepares or assists in preparing maintenance of office areas, including painting, carpet cleaning, general repairs, and housekeeping.
- Responsible for hands-on maintenance of the property, including overall inspection, repair, and general maintenance of offices and other interior/exterior areas.
- Installs and repairs electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical/electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment.
- Performs various preventative maintenance functions and records findings in a maintenance log.
- Performs on-call emergency service as required.
- Works with general maintenance staff to maintain grounds and keep them free of trash and debris.
- Monitors and maintains all mechanical equipment on the community, including water heaters, HVAC units, etc.
- Diagnoses malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures, and replaces damaged or broken wires and cables.
- Replaces faulty electrical components of machines, such as relays, switches, motors, and positions sensing devices.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Minimum of two (2) years of hands-on apartment maintenance experience in areas such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, etc.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and work with heavy equipment.
- Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and auto insurance.
- EPA or CFC certification.
