About the role

Join PAM Health Aiken’s brand-new rehabilitation hospital opening this fall and help shape the future of patient care from the beginning. The Maintenance Tech I is responsible for the operation of department equipment and general maintenance of the facility & equipment in accordance with all applicable standards to provide a safe environment of care for employees, patients, and visitors of all ages. Other responsibilities include security in the absence of a security officer and other related duties as assigned or requested.

Responsibilities

• Operate department equipment and perform general maintenance of the facility and equipment.
• Ensure a safe environment of care for employees, patients, and visitors.
• Provide security in the absence of a security officer.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Electrical maintenance license preferred but not required (training available).
• One to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• General maintenance background experience required; hospital maintenance experience preferred but not required.
