Maintenance Technician

Maintain Buildings – Perform general building maintenance including painting, patching repairs, floor care, and remodeling to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

Manage HVAC & Mechanical System – Inspect and maintain heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems to optimize safety and comfort for residents and staff.

Maintain Plumbing & Water Systems – Inspect and repair hot water heaters, softeners, plumbing equipment, and pool systems, including monitoring pool chemistry when scheduled.

Maintain Life Safety & Emergency Preparedness – Maintain and troubleshoot fire safety systems, generators, sprinkler systems, and alarm panels, ensuring compliance with Life Safety Code procedures.

As a Maintenance Technician, You Will

  • Maintain Buildings – Perform general building maintenance including painting, patching repairs, floor care, and remodeling to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

Job Requirements

  • Prior painting experience preferred
  • Mechanical knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance
  • Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain facility equipment efficiently
  • Valid driver's license with a clean record
  • On Call requirement on a rotating basis
  • Physical capability to perform essential job functions
  • Ability to pass state mandated background check
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English to ensure effective communication with residents, staff, and families
