Maintenance Technician - Part Time

You will play a vital role in ensuring our buildings and grounds are safe, functional, and inviting. You’ll perform a variety of maintenance tasks, from plumbing and electrical repairs to HVAC and carpentry work, all while upholding our high standards for quality and safety. Responsibilities
- Complete service requests in a timely manner and interact with residents to ensure their needs are met.
- Prepare vacant units to occupancy standards within established time frames.
- Inspect property mechanical systems and grounds, addressing safety issues immediately with management.
- Conduct advanced routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs.
- Perform cleaning and upkeep of common areas and grounds.
- Train and mentor junior maintenance staff as needed.
- Inspect property and address maintenance concerns proactively.
- Assist in emergency repairs as directed by supervisors and rotate on-call for emergency maintenance.
- Maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies and report any shortages.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in general maintenance or related field.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems.
- Affordable housing experience is a plus.
- Must be able to participate in the emergency on-call rotation as needed.

- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Pay
$22.00 – $25.00/hour. Actual compensation may vary depending on a candidate’s qualifications, geographical location, and the specific responsibilities of the role. Performance bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance and retirement plans, may be available.
Schedule
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday; 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. This position is non-exempt, meaning eligible for overtime pay.
