About the Role

This position takes direction from the Building Engineer and develops skills in maintaining and repairing building fixtures, including lights, locks, windows, doors, screens, flooring, gutters, and drains. The maintenance technician will handle duties involving carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical repairs to ensure the building is properly and safely maintained.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure building systems operate efficiently and the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate.
• Perform maintenance tasks such as carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
• Clean and repair building fixtures including lights, locks, windows, doors, screens, walls, floors, gutters, and drains.
• Operate and perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC equipment and related systems.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of maintenance experience.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

Physical & Environmental Requirements

• Frequent stooping, standing, walking, sitting, and reaching.
• Ability to bend/lift up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to move 15 lbs. of force frequently and 20 lbs. of force occasionally.
• Ability to operate necessary equipment and visually interpret data.
• Primarily inside environmental elements, with occasional walking between buildings outside.
• Repetitive movements.

Schedule

Flexible schedule, 7 days per week, on-call.

Pay

Up to $25.00/hour.
