Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance expertise to service, repair, and maintain process and utility equipment.
• Understand the needs and requirements of customers and handle customer questions with tact and understanding.
• Improve equipment uptime, line efficiency, and overall equipment effectiveness.
• Diagnose and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Document actions taken to repair equipment.
• Aid in the setup and changeover of production line equipment.
• Assist in areas outside of primary responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED
• Minimum 2 years of maintenance or manufacturing experience
• Completion of post-offer exam or completion of work simulation if applicable
• Ability to speak, read, and write English at a sufficient level
• Proficiency in business software programs like GMARS, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Good mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with repair of equipment
• Industrial electrical experience using VOM and Amprobe meters
• Familiarity with set-up and operation of a lathe, mill, surface grinder, and drill press

Additional Skills / Preferences

• Ability to work with potentially dangerous and hazardous equipment
• Exposure to allergens in some plant sites
• Physical mobility and exposure to allergens should be considered
• Fit for duty test is required
