Maintenance Technician, Nights

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance, assist in maintenance repairs to a wide variety of equipment, building, and general housekeeping.
• Works in a safe manner and recognizes unsafe conditions. Takes appropriate action to ensure safety of themselves and others in the building.
• Maintains a schedule of when maintenance has been performed and when next service is due.
• Reports defects, damages and malfunctions of any kind to the supervising authority.
• Runs errands as needed.
• Communicates with co-workers and others to carry out job duties.
• Effectively completes all tasks as assigned by the supervising manager.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 plus years of related work experience with plant floor experience.
• Thoroughness.
• Ability to operate basic tools and equipment related to the maintenance and repair of equipment and machines.
• Time Management.
• Familiarity with automotive manufacturing.
• Computer skills and math skills sufficient to perform department related tasks required.
• Communication skills to communicate and interact with all levels of employees.
