Summary
Troubleshoots, repairs, builds, and installs plant production and support equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Bends conduit, pulls wire, and hooks up equipment
- Maintain machine and support equipment PMs
- Performs other work-related duties and tasks as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor or Group Leader
Qualifications
- Trained in use and operation of electrical and hydraulic systems
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Technical training from the military, vocational/technical school or college
- Three years’ experience as a technician in an industrial maintenance department
Physical Demands
- Must be able to do some climbing on machines
- Must be able to lift 70 pounds
- Must be able to stand/walk for extended amounts of time
Work Environment
- General factory
- Exposed to heat, cold, noise, dust, oil/grease and traveling powered industrial vehicles
