Maintenance Technician Midnights

Job Purpose

Maintains all ROHO equipment by performing preventative maintenance on equipment, inspecting and repairing all equipment, and assisting with any other special projects.

Compensation & Schedule

Pay Range: $28.00–$33.00/hr, depending on experience
Work Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Shift: Midnight shift — starts Sunday at 10:00 PM and ends Friday at 6:30 AM
Overtime: Offered as needed to support production needs

Key Tasks

• ENSURES OPERATION OF MACHINERY AND MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT BY:
  • Observing all equipment to assure proper operation of all systems and find possible failures;
  • repairing and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment such as pneumatic tools, motors, conveyor systems, production machines and equipment using testing instruments, hand and power tools and precision-measuring instruments;
  • performing preventive maintenance on equipment;
  • repairing electrical equipment.
• MANAGE EQUIPMENT DATABASE BY:
  • Maintaining written records for every piece of equipment;
  • logging work done and failures in order to establish a predictive maintenance program.
• ADJUSTS PARTS OF DEVICES AND CONTROL INSTRUMENTS BY:
  • Installing functional and structural parts on devices or equipment.
• MaintAINS SAFE AND CLEAN WORK ENVIRONMENT BY:
  • Operating all machinery in a safe and efficient manner;
  • reporting any safety hazards to assigned supervisor or safety manager;
  • complying with all safety and quality policies, practices and procedures.
• Maintains QUALITY SERVICE BY:
  • Keeping error rates minimal and within acceptable ranges;
  • maintaining an efficient work pace;
  • meeting and exceeding all performance measurements: quantity, accuracy, timeliness, and thoroughness of work performed.

Your Background

• You have a Associates Degree from college or technical school or 3 to 5 years direct related experience or an equivalent combination.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
• Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database, activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
• Forklift; man lift; valid driver’s license.
