Front-End Nights: 5:45 pm – 6:15 am

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and perform minor upgrades on mechanical systems, including monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual preventive maintenance (PMs).
• Fix operational and maintenance issues on mechanical systems.
• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on building and facility equipment, fixtures, and systems.
• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain facility plumbing, mechanical, heating, and cooling systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and perform required duties.
• Resolve nonstandard problems within generally defined parameters, using judgment where needed.
• Work in clean room environments, adhering to strict environmental compliance and wearing required PPE, including air-supplied respirators, coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, and gloves.

Requirements

• Knowledge of mechanical systems such as exhaust, chillers, vacuum pumps, and electrical systems.
• Experience performing general industrial mechanical work, including instrument calibrations.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Ability to adhere to a stringent environmental compliance culture and work a compressed work week schedule.

Preferences

• Basic machine tool knowledge preferred.
• Proficiency with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Familiarity with welding, cutting, facing, and tube preparation processes.

Physical Effort/Activities

• May be required to walk up to 5+ miles per day.
• Capable of being on feet for 8–10 hours at a time.
• Ability to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights on a ladder, and lift up to 50 pounds.
