About the role
The State of New Hampshire, Department of Corrections, Division of Administration - Logistics has a full-time vacancy for Maintenance Technician. This position supervises and performs technical maintenance, repair, installation, and calibration of HVAC, boiler and generator equipment for all southern region NH Department of Corrections (NH DOC) facilities while working in close and immediate contact with prisoners on a daily basis, having responsibility for security.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Equivalent combination of 5 years of education and experience after completion of high school, with at least 2 years of supervisory experience in the operation and maintenance of the mechanical and electrical equipment used in buildings.
- Valid drivers license or have access to transportation for statewide travel.
- Must have a State of NH Gas Fitters license.
Qualifications

- Licenses/Certifications: Valid drivers license or have access to transportation for statewide travel. Must have a State of NH Gas Fitters license.
Benefits
- Hazardous Duty Pay, paid biweekly at $60 (not included in salary above).
- Schedule: 6:30 - 2:30 with Saturday and Sundays off.
