Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all maintenance operations, ensuring optimal performance of facilities and systems.
- Develop and implement advanced maintenance strategies to prevent breakdowns and enhance efficiency.
- Conduct expert-level troubleshooting and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Lead training programs for maintenance staff to ensure high competency levels.
- Manage relationships with vendors and contractors, ensuring adherence to service agreements.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- You Must Have:
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in a related field.
- A higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
- Mastery of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- A valid driver's license.
- Experience with safe use of tools and equipment.
- We Prefer:
- Master-level certification in a relevant technical field (e.g., HVAC, electrical).
- Extensive experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry.
- Mastery of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Experience working with hand and power tools.
- Ability to drive a forklift.
Essential Functions
- Ability to work on-site.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Ability to stand and walk for most of the work shift.
- Manual dexterity to handle tools and equipment.
- Ability to work in potentially hazardous or loud environments.
- Ability to travel as required.
