Schedule

Monday through Friday or Sunday through Thursday, 11 PM to 7 AM.

Pay

Hourly compensation based on experience: $30.50+.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures production lines and other equipment are maintained and able to run at all times.
  • Assists in developing and prioritizing work orders with Maintenance Manager, Production Supervision, and Line Leads.
  • Completes work order requests as defined by Maintenance Manager, Production Management/Supervision, and/or Operators.
  • Supports workplace organization programs (6S) and production efficiency programs (TPM).
  • Assists, coaches, and trains operators in daily preventative maintenance (CIL) checks.
  • Supports and assists preventative maintenance process on the shift.
  • Contributes and assists in line commissioning after maintenance/process events.
  • Assists and participates with other plant projects as needed.
  • Operates in a manner that provides value to the team.
  • Performs additional duties as needed and/or assigned by supervision/management.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Advanced education and/or related certification(s), a plus.
  • Completion of two-year Maintenance Certification course.
  • Stick and wire welding experience required; structural welding certification, a plus.
  • Forklift experience required with the ability to complete TT Forklift Certification program.
  • Will meet qualification and certification requirements established by TimberTech’s Training Resources and Knowledge (TRAK) program.

Skills

  • Computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
  • Proven experience working unassisted with and troubleshooting: Electrical, Electronic, Motor Controller Drives, Mechanical, Hydraulic, and Pneumatic Systems.
  • Strong background in manufacturing systems in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of extrusion process, twin screw setup, blending system (a plus).
  • Knowledge of PLC Logic technology (a plus).
  • Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
  • Strong decision-making, analytical skills, and proven ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong mathematical skills; success in planning, executing, and managing projects.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate upward and downward to a wide range of audiences.
  • Self-directed, motivated, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment.
