Maintenance Technician III HVAC
Position Overview
Under minimal direction, provides operation, maintenance, repair, and installation of secondary components HVAC equipment and all fixed and non-fixed, non-patient care HVAC equipment in a safe, effective and efficient manner in response to, or in support of, customer needs. This position also supports all areas of the Hospital maintenance and preventative maintenance programs.

Compensation Range
$25.12 - $35.87 per hour, depending on experience
Education/Experience
- Minimum Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
4 – 6 years’ experience in operational level maintenance and engineering and/or demonstrated experience as a Tech II or equivalent. - Preferred: Graduation from Trade School.
6 years’ experience in operational level maintenance and engineering with 4 years’ being hospital experience.
Licenses/Certifications
- Minimum Required: Universal EPA Refrigerant Certification to be obtained within 6 months of hire/promotion
- Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing.
- Preferred: HVAC Controls or HVAC Mechanic Certification.
