Maintenance Technician III - Crew Leader

Position Summary

Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. is currently seeking full-time Maintenance Technician III – Crew Leader to perform maintenance operations in the Brunswick area. This position is an advanced technical and skilled role within our field organization.

Required Experience

- Minimum 1 year of related experience - Knowledge of various parts of roadway, bridge, drainage structures and other road furniture - Types of damage sustained by highway infrastructure due to mechanical wear and environmental conditions - Materials used to repair highway infrastructure - Order of procedure to lift heavy objects - Correct work methods for various activities required to maintain and repair highway infrastructure

Qualifications

- Education: High School Diploma, some college courses preferred, but not required - Minimum Years of Relevant Experience: 3-5 - Maintain company standards for background checks (i.e. criminal record, driving record and controlled substance/drug testing) - Knowledge of local driving rules and regulations - Carry out simple arithmetic functions - Maintain proper safety equipment required for each job - Knowledge and ability to adapt to the latest technology - Ability to use smart phone and applications - Ability to adjust to changing work schedule - Ability to work safely under ranging environmental and weather conditions - Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds; strenuous manual labor may be required - Ability to operate hand/power tools
