Maintenance Technician III

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical testing, motor testing, fuse/continuity check, voltage/resistance/current relationships
• Read and follow blueprints and draw schematics
• Advises supervisor of problems and makes suggestions and repairs as needed
• Performs machinery and equipment examinations to troubleshoot for defects in operation
• Trains lower level partners in all aspects of maintenance, safety, quality and production expectations
• Computes rate, ratio, and percent and draws and interprets bar graphs
• Fills in for Supervisor as needed and demonstrates leadership qualities

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 5-8 years' experience minimum in an industrial environment working within a maintenance (electrical/mechanical) department as a Maintenance Electrician/Technician
• Experience working with troubleshooting Allen Bradley PLCs – 3 years
• Basic understanding of MS Office (Word / Excel)
• Basic understanding of Ohm's Law (Electrical formulas and equations) and NEC (National Electric Code)

Skills

• Proficient in operating a wide variety of tools and instruments (including micrometers, calipers, voltmeters and other gauges; hand tools, power tools, computers)
• Proficient in Ohm's Law (Electrical formulas and equations) and NEC (National Electric Code)
• Proficient working knowledge of electrical and mechanical maintenance
• Trains lower level partners in all aspects of maintenance, safety, quality and production expectations
