Maintenance Technician III

Responsibilities

• Oversees engineering operations when Assistant Director is unavailable.
• Completes preventative maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel guestrooms, public spaces, equipment, buildings & grounds.
• Serves as Duty Engineer.
• Interviews, hires, trains, and leads staff.
• Ensures work is conducted safely and effectively.
• Maintains service records on mechanical and structural systems.
• Motivates and leads staff to achieve organizational goals.
• Manages maintenance and water treatment operations.
• Maintains facility compliance with local, state, and federal codes and regulations.
• Ensures standard operating procedures are followed.
• Assists in accident/incident investigations.
• Performs other duties as directed by the Director of Engineering.

Requirements

• Technical Degree
• Technical Training
• Trade-related Certifications
• Hospitality, Healthcare, or related industry experience
• Minimum 1 year of Engineer Supervisor experience in full service, preferably in a hotel or healthcare facility, or 3 years as an Engineer 2 with supervisory ability
• Trade-related certifications preferred in HVAC and/or Electrical
• Computer skills including knowledge of database software, internet software, order processing systems, Microsoft Office suite
• Valid Driver's License

Pay

Annual base salary range: $33.00

The exact salary will be determined based on relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs.
